Week 11

Cant believe that John and Edward are finally gone, they were great entertainers in fairness to them! We have't seen the last of them!!!

Have two weeks left in college and im looking forward to finishing up with my projects and getting my exams over with.. Its getting really stressful now as I have like 3 projects still to do and there all due next week- still haven't started studying for end of semester exams..

I have spent a good lot of this week over in Isabels so I should nearly consider moving in at this stage nearly haha!! oh and she said I can stay for free too! We have spent hours upon hours doing database and we still find it difficult but we are making good headway now as we have to email it to our lecturer today.. Our public relations project is as good as done another hour or two should do it thank god! And we'l tackle our web site project tomorrow then....

On monday night I had some chilling time and I went looking around the shops in the city and mahon with my boyfriend and we went to the cinema that night then in mahon. We saw 2012 and we thought it was very good and interesting.. I would recommend anyone to go and see it..

Week 10

Starting week 10 now and iv a disappointing start to it. We played our county final yesterday and we lost. It was such a tough and physical game. We had great support and I guess it was just disappointing that we couldn't win it. We did our best.

Our first half performance was not our best and we knew we could have played better as we performed below average.. The second half to be fair we dominated the entire half but just after half time we conceded two quick goals and that was the difference in the end unfortunately.

We all went for a team meal after the game which was nice but the mood wasn't the best which was very understandable.. A good few of the girls were going out for a few drinks in our local town, I was very tempted to head off with them but college is getting hectic so I decided to just head to cork after I watched the X factor.

The X factor results were some what surprising in my opinion, the twins got in with the public vote and I was shocked to see that Jamie went out. He's a good singer and performs gigs himself in pubs.. Llyod was shocked that he stayed from his reaction but its getting tough now and anything can happen now out of 12 theres just 6 remaining now.... it'l be interesting and its all to sing for!!!

One great weekend!!!

My weekend was great.. I went out sat night with a gang from home and it was a great night..It was quiet but we made our own crack and we didn't get home till like 4 in the morning!

I watched the X Factor in the pub and I thought John and Edward were hilarious doing Ghostbusters and I was shocked that Simon actually approved of the act as he is always condemning them..

On sunday I went to my cousins minor county final against bantry and it was a tough game.. The game was vey close at the start and thankfully beara came out on the right side by winning by 9 POINTS!! The celebrations started early and the bonfires and convoy of cars was savage to be around!! The lads were delighted and to be honest It made me excited ahead of my own county final which is on this coming sunday- cant wait!!

On this sunday coming I have my county final against ballingeary but we still dont no the arrangements but I hope that we get good support as it is our first time in a county final in 5 years..

This week in college I am working with my groups to start our projects. We have a database project to start, Public Relations to continue working at and a web Site project to reaccess..

Week 8 and pressure is on now!!

Isabel and myself are just finished a business meeting for our PR project. It lasted two hours!! It was very interesting and beneficial and now we have a good indication as to what we have to do..

We have a big database exam to study for on friday so its heads down for us all..

I had college training last night but it was only a get together and a light training session because we are playing our second league game tonight against UCC so it would be fantastic if we could win and get the year off to a good and positive start.. we played UL last week and we were unfortunate to lose out by a narrow margin of just two points..

Also last night julie, siobhan and myself went to Isabels house to discuss our web site project. We finally decided on the layout and sitemap so we feel we are making good progress.

Week 7 and the time is flying

Back to normality after the weekend and it was a very relaxing. I stayed in sat night and I watched the X Factor and cracked open a bottle of wine with my sister and mother! I was shocked to see that the twins got in again. Its very funny how much they annoy simon!!

I also decided to do some college work and I started my web report and got a lot done so I was quite happy!! I need another 800 words so almost there with it!! I also had training with my club on the Friday night and it wasn't a pleasant night for it because our county final is in 2 weeks.

On sunday I went to watch the local games with my father and brother and that was entertaining and passed away a few hours for myself!! I also visited my relations so it was nice...

On Sunday night then, I decided to out go in town with my friends and I had a great night. The Wolfe Tones were playing in the nite club early so it was enjoyable! We did a bit of a pub crawl some laugh, and all the pubs were busy after the games that day!!

October Bank Holiday Weekend!!

Awh its been one hell of a week leading up to the long weekend!! Have so much to do for college and so many big projects.. I survived two big exams so very pleased..

Yesterday Isabel and I started our Public Relations project by firsly meeting the manager of the Rubicon Centre. It was a great experience and my very first official business meeting!! We now have to make a good impression which im sure we will.. Im confident!!

I decided to treat myself tuesday night and go the cinema in Mahon and I went to see the new movie couples retreat, I thought it was funny and good film to watch. Would recommend it .. although I never imagined it to end the way it did!!

I am now just finished work for the day and have the rest of the weekend off to chill and possibly go out!!! so glad we'd today off and monday also.. I'll be back if I think of any other news!!!

Week 6 of college!

Into week 6 now and its getting pretty full on.. exams and assignments are due so its all crazy!! Im just trying not to panic ...

Last weekend I played the county semi final with my club- Beara. We beat Liscarrol well in the end and it was some game to win as they would have been red hot favourites really.. Were into the county final now in three weeks so cant wait. It would be my first time winning a county with my club in like 5 years so im hoping we can change that in three weeks time!!:) I think were playing the winners of North Cork and Ballingeary.......!

I think ill go to the cineama tonight with my boyfriend looking forward to seeing the new film " Couples Retreat " the trailers look brill !! See--Hee Hee!!
